Martin Yates is the Chief Client Technology Officer (CCTO) at G42 Presight, boasting over 30 years of cross-industry experience. 

Before joining Presight, he served as the Chief Client Technology Officer at Core42. In this role, he played a key part in planning organizational strategies, developing new capabilities, and driving business transformation. He made efforts to shift the company’s focus from traditional managed services to introducing innovative lines of business. These included advanced technology solutions in cybersecurity, smart cities, digital transformation, cloud services, Digital Twins, IoT, AI, Command and Control, Smart Defense, Data Management, and Sustainability.

Prior to moving to the UAE, he was the Global CTO at Dell Technologies. There, he established and managed the early development of Dell’s entry into cloud products, services, and consulting, and then led the development of Dell’s digital transformation practice within the Asia Pacific region. During his tenure, Martin established the smart cities and nations technology business unit. He played a pivotal role in building Dell’s reputation as a trusted global partner for national governments, smart cities, and civil and military defense programs.

In his early career, Martin worked as an engineer supporting joint defense command, security, and control capability development within the United Kingdom’s defense force. Over the last eighteen years, Martin has played an active role in shaping Singapore’s national development and industry, serving as an appointed special advisor on various steering committees. He was also selected as a lifetime official ambassador for Singapore government policy and party.
