With a commendable career in the Portuguese Police, Andre served as Police Station Commander, and as Head of Unit at the National Intelligence Department. During this tenure, He demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and commitment in the fight against organized crime groups, showcasing a deep understanding of complex criminal networks. One of the highlights of Andre's career includes serving as a Liaison Officer for major events security operations overseas, where he honed his expertise in managing highstakes security situations and international collaboration. This experience provided him with a unique perspective on global security challenges and the importance of crossborder cooperation. Following their impactful role in the Portuguese Police, he dedicated five years to Interpol, the world's leading international police organization. At Interpol, Andre held pivotal positions, including leading the Vulnerable Communities Subdirectorate and the Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants Unit. In these roles, he made significant strides in addressing critical issues related to human trafficking and played a key role in safeguarding vulnerable communities worldwide. Currently, Andre serves as a reference in the field of corporate intelligence and outreach at Airbnb. In this capacity, they focus on fostering robust cooperation between the company and law enforcement agencies, intelligence organizations, and international police entities. Through their work, he continues to bridge the gap between the private sector and global law enforcement efforts, contributing significantly to enhancing international security frameworks. Beyond their professional commitments, Andre is a dedicated advocate for human rights and social justice. As a member of the Board of Directors of the Human Dignity Foundation, continues to support different programmes in the protection of children.
