Dr. Ahmad Al Aiyan is an accomplished Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, United Arab Emirates University. With a Master's degree in Animal Science and a Ph.D. in Veterinary Applied Anatomy from Freie Universit't Berlin, Germany, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role.

Before joining UAE University in 2014, Dr. Al Aiyan served as a surgeon at the small animal clinic in the Free University of Berlin from 2005 to 2011. During this time, he developed expertise in veterinary surgery.

At UAE University, Dr. Al Aiyan has focused his research on the unique characteristics of the Arabian Camel. His extensive research on camels has resulted in numerous scientific publications in prestigious journals, showcasing their adaptability to arid environments.

Dr. Al Aiyan is also recognized for his contributions to veterinary education. He has developed innovative teaching methods that have benefited veterinary and animal science students, both locally and internationally. His leadership has led to accolades for the department, including the establishment of the GCC region's first anatomy laboratory and the creation of an exceptional Animal Anatomy Museum.

In recognition of his dedication and achievements, Dr. Al Aiyan has received several awards, including the Teaching Excellence Award at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in 2022.

Dr. Ahmad Al Aiyan's expertise, research contributions, and commitment to advancing veterinary education make him an esteemed faculty member at UAE University.
