Adam Hyde is the Director of Highway and Transportation Safety Programs at the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety.' Mr. Hyde manages and develops courses and instructs all offered crash investigation and reconstruction courses. Mr. Hyde coordinates adjunct instructor recruitment, assignments, and training, and he coordinates business development for the Highway and Transportation Safety Programs and has been with the Center since 2012.

Adam Hyde is an ACTAR Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist with over 2,500 hours of crash investigation and reconstruction training. Mr. Hyde specializes in consulting and expert witness testimony in vehicle collision investigation and reconstruction of serious and fatal traffic crashes. Mr. Hyde serves as the Secretary Board of Directors member for the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists, NAPARS (napars.org), and has been appointed to the Governing Board of Directors for ACTAR, the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (actar.org). On the Governing Board of Directors, Mr. Hyde serves as the Chairman of the Organizational Information and Special Projects Committee, and he participates on various other committees.

Mr. Hyde has over 23 years of law enforcement experience and is a certified Crash Reconstruction Specialist, Lead Homicide Investigator, and Truck Enforcement Officer. Mr. Hyde currently serves as the Commander for the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team (MCAT) where he leads a team of over 50 police investigators from 37 police municipalities.

Mr. Hyde also performs traffic crash consulting with Cooper Barrette Consulting, Woodstock, Illinois.
