The SAM 950 Ruggedized Isotope Identifier features an internal, hardened 3”x3” NaI detector option, offering high sensitivity for rapid screening of low activity threats and spectroscopic analysis. It also offers optional smaller NaI detectors and solid-state neutron detectors for versatility.
The interface of the SAM 950 is user-friendly, resembling touch movements common to smartphones. It allows users to expand on peaks in spectra, swipe to access additional details, and append reports with multimedia content like photos, voice memos, and video.
