The Institute For the Future (IFF), a cross-disciplinary research institute at the University of Nicosia (UNIC), is dedicated to advancing emerging technologies and contributing to their effective application in education, research, industry, and government, while also evaluating their impact on society at large.

To date, IFF has educated over 145,000 students in academic and professional training courses, while hosting the world’s largest team of faculty members, researchers, and support staff. 

Furthermore, IFF serves as the lead academic partner for the consortium overseeing the second edition of the European Blockchain Observatory and Forum (EUBOF), a European Commission initiative to accelerate the development of blockchain with the EU. To date, IFF boasts a strong record of collaboration through various European-funded projects and industry initiatives, demonstrating its position as a leader in contributing to and benefiting from both Europe’s and the world’s innovation landscape.
