Detective Superintendent Matt Cornish of Essex Police has led his force through a significant change in the way that it prevents domestic homicide. In response to the tragic death of Ashley Wadsworth the force challenged existing thinking in terms of the way that that high-risk domestic abuse perpetrators are identified and pursued. The force developed a new approach, partnering with leading academics in the field.
