In this workshop, UNICRI and INTERPOL will introduce the concept of responsible AI innovation, describing what it is and why it is important for the law enforcement community, as well as the principles for responsible AI and the organizational components required by agencies to implement responsible AI practices. The workshop will also feature a scenario-based exercise in which participants will seek to identify legal, ethical and organizational challenges presented in the hypothetical scenario and work together using INTERPOL and UNICRI’s Toolkit for Responsible AI Innovation in Law Enforcement to identify responsible AI approaches.
