The presentation will define transnational organized crime, its global reach and complexity from a drug trafficking perspective.   The presentation will highlight current drug smuggling routes and discuss in detail the increased use of synthetic drugs.  Once defined, the presentation will showcase INTERPOL’s new Response Against Illicit Drugs (I-RAID) Programme and how through increased intelligence sharing, coordination and cooperation INTERPOL can help member countries address transnational organized crime.
